HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!
The History of the Holiday...
St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17, his religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for over a thousand years.
On St. Patrick's Day, which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. Lenten prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived and people would dance, drink, and feast—on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage.

Wearing of the Green Goes Global
Today, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated by people of all backgrounds in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Although North America is home to the largest productions, St. Patrick's Day has been celebrated in other locations far from Ireland, including Japan, Singapore, and Russia.

Grandpa Gronny "Taco Bell Day!!"

We went to Taco Bell on Saturday for "Taco Bell Day!!" In honor of my grandpa Thomas (g-pa gronny) who's favorite place was Taco Bell!
We will do this every year on his Birthday!!!
John went through the drive-thru because they always mix up or get our burrito orders wrong...he gets no sauce, no onions & I get EXTRA sauce & no onions....so....
...I went inside to order my burrito!
Then we went to our local park (it wasn't "closed"--hahaha (description below) & ate our Taco Bell! It was a beautiful day! We miss you grandpa!!
I ate a taco for you!!
XOXOXO! Growing up near our grandparents was so neat! We have so many cherished memories!
Whenever we would visit, we would beg our grandpa to take us to their local park. Everytime we would ask, his response was the same,
"Sorry, the park is Closed!"
"Graaaaaaaandpa--the park can't be closed!!" we would say!
Eventually he would give in and take us up to the park in the red wagon!
We were so lucky to have the best granparents of all!
